The Beginning: From Crown Heights to the Underground

Hailing from Crown Heights, Brooklyn — “Bucktown USA” — Ruste Juxx began making his mark on the underground Hip Hop scene in 1998, first appearing on guest appearances connected to Heltah Skeltah’s Magnum Force. According to his EPK, he delivered two verses on the project, establishing an early presence that would become the foundation for a career spanning decades. Known for his battle-rap instincts, assertive delivery, and clear lyrical style, Juxx developed an identity centered on bars, consistency, and authentic Hip Hop.

His official EPK describes an artist who has remained active not only through his own releases but also through collaborations and performances around the world, including appearances throughout Europe and Asia. That international reach is part of a career that has continued to expand while remaining deeply connected to New York’s underground Hip Hop tradition.

Building the Catalog: Indestructible, The Exxecution & Ready to Juxx

Ruste Juxx officially stepped into the album spotlight with Indestructible, released in 2008 through Duck Down and executive produced by the late Sean Price. The project featured production from names including Marco Polo and Black Milk, giving Juxx a powerful introduction as a full-length recording artist.

In 2010, Juxx reunited with Marco Polo for The Exxecution, further establishing the chemistry between his lyrical approach and hard-hitting production. By 2013, Juxx had expanded his entrepreneurial side by launching Blaze My Fire, later releasing Ready to Juxx with VS The Best in conjunction with Soulspazm. The catalog continues with Top Tier Vol. 1, I’m Not Like These Other Rappers, T.U.N.D.R.A, Oxymorons, Break It Down, Bartopia, Crownsville, Juxx & Da Julah, Once Upon a Crime, Sulfuric Acid, With or Without Access, Brooklyn to Queens Expressway, The Exxecution, 6 Victuals, Auto Juxx, Ruste Juxx, Vol. 1 EP, Live From Crowhill, Barbarians, and The Spectacle of Fearsome Acts... WORLD RENOWNED: The 2026 Chapter

Ruste Juxx entered another major chapter in 2026 with WORLD RENOWNED, a collaboration with Sir Puff-A-Lot that was released on June 22, 2026. The 12-track album includes appearances from Termanology, Rockness Monsta, Tha Rezanator, Reks, Craig G, Kulya, Mooch, and Reb3l Servant, among others. Apple Music and Spotify list tracks including “Murder I Wrote,” “They Don’t Want It,” “Clown Cakes,” “Meaning More,” “No Fly Zone,” “All Gods,” “President,” “Diggy Down,” “Dope Supremacy,” and the title track “World Renowned.”

The album also connects Juxx with multiple generations of underground and New York Hip Hop voices. A June 2026 review from Hip Hop Golden Age characterized the project as an East Coast boom-bap record built around Sir Puff-A-Lot’s production and Ruste Juxx’s aggressive delivery.

Another important piece of the current chapter is Juxx’s continued collaborative work. Among the material highlighted for this era is “TheOwl Cry,” a song made with iNTeLL of 2nd Generation Wu and produced by Ras Kass, adding another connection between Juxx’s Brooklyn-rooted Hip Hop journey and artists from different generations of the culture.
