The Culture Inc. Magazine Presents: Rene StayFocus Spills the “T.E.A.” on Her Latest Album Release
Rising artist Rene StayFocus is back — and she’s serving nothing but flavor. Following the success of her debut album Forever 21 and hit singles like Boss Season and Forever Your Rider, Rene is ready to take the world by storm once again with her second studio project, “T.E.A.”, dropping November 11, 2025. This album blends the soulful essence of new-era R&B with the unapologetic energy of Hip-Hop, capturing the full range of Rene’s artistic evolution and confidence.
“What motivated this album T.E.A. is me stepping out more into the music industry and becoming more confident in myself,” Rene shares. “The name comes from my business, Tea Time with Rene — so on this album, you’re getting a mix of lover-girl vibes and standing-on-business energy.”
And that’s exactly what T.E.A. delivers — a perfect balance of softness and strength. Rene describes this release as an intimate reflection of her personal and creative growth, inviting listeners into her world of emotions, empowerment, and evolution. “Putting this project out is my way of showing people how quickly the tea can spill — because on Tea Time with Rene, the tea’s always hot, and my emotions can shift just as fast on any beat. This album is me: real, raw, and ready.”
When asked about her top three favorite tracks from T.E.A., Rene doesn’t hesitate to spill:
1. “S&M”
“This is my number one song because it’s about me expressing my love for my other half — it’s us till the end. We’re forever locked in, and no matter what happens, nothing will ever change that. It’s real love energy all the way through.”
2. “No Potential”
“This track stands out because the beat is completely different from what I usually do. It’s about knowing your worth — if someone thinks they can play me or play with my heart, it doesn’t faze me, because I’m just gonna level up. The Nola bounce beat was a fun challenge for me, and I wanted to show I can step out of my comfort zone beyond drill or Jersey bounce sounds.”
3. “Don’t Blink (Get Lite)”
“This one’s straight-up energy. It’s a dance beat that represents where I’m from — New York. Everybody loves to get lite, so I wanted to bring that culture and movement into my music. It’s all about turning up, having fun, and repping the city.”
With T.E.A., Rene StayFocus continues to prove she’s a force in the new era of sound — confident, creative, and completely in her bag. Whether she’s giving you lover-girl warmth or bossed-up independence, one thing’s for sure: the tea’s hot, and Rene’s just getting started.
